Hey all! I agree with Alex...emerge was really great last night...everyone's books sounded cool! And my cheese burger & ice cream were delicious...(just sayin)...
Here are my thoughts on the 2 scriptures:
-Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."
I think this scripture is saying that the people who have a "child-like faith & child-like innocense" are the ones who really find Him. It also is saying that people who's intentions are pure & who truely want what God wants for their life, are the ones who are blessed in the eyes of God...
-Hebrews 12:14, "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone & to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord."
To me, this scripture's saying to try all you can not to cause problems with people...just let God's peace rule your life...Also, as far as holiness, I think it's saying without being "humble" & setting your eyes on God, you expect him to move through you much...
Purity & holiness are essentials to having an incredible relationship with God...
This was short, but it's all I got this morning...lol! ;)
