for me i usually begin to pray and worship god in my own way before i play on stage. i believe that before you go on to the stage u must prepare yourselves to lead people to christ. You must also be in sync with God the whole time you are not at church and be able to live the christian life. Pastor wayne told our group last night at surrender that its not that we should try an live the christian life but more that we should live as we see God. And to live our christian lives to the fullest and for me that means worshiping my heart out on or off stage no matter what the surrounding. I feel that this is something we should do before going on to stage is not just pray but worship in his presence before bringing the others to him.
