Songs

A few months ago I made a statement that seems to keep hanging around.  That statement was "what if we really believed what we sang".  Lyrics like "the same power that conquered the grave lives in me" or "You are the life to my heart and my soul" or "Lord You have my heart, I will search for Yours" are so powerful.  There is such a war for where we place our hope and belief.  The songs we sing are such gifts from heaven given to inspire hope and launch belief.  However, if they are not sang with passion and a true heart for Christ, then they are merely words that fall to the ground.  I don't to be a song singer or a word sayer . . . . I want to be a life creator, a hope giver, and belief inspirer.  I want to sing what I believe and believe what I sing.  Anyone with me?
