LOL

Ok so I was like checking out these scriptures and it was like totally confusing. It was like God said you had to be pure to see God and that if your not holy you won't see God... and I was like OMG! That is so confusing... unless to be pure is to be holy, but can u like be holy and not b pure??? So I was like checkin out the first scripture where it talks about being "pure in heart" and I thought God's pure and holy so maybe it means that like u have to have God's will in ur life a nd u have to like want to serve him in all u do and if you put God first in ur heart his love will consume you and u will like gain his qualities which is purity, holiness, and looovvveeee, and u will be able to c him cuz he will reveal himself to u!!!!

So then i like reAd the second verse and I was like ya this is like the same scripture. But i was like hey there might b more to this scripture so i looked up the definition of holiness. and it was the state or quality of being holy. and i was like woah!!! thats powerful (and useless) so i looked up holy which is being dedicated or devoted to the service of God. and i was like OMG thats jus like purity where its like u have to serve God and b devoted to be pure. Because when we devote ourselves to God we become like him and we can then see him.

I was also wonderin how in the second scripture it said no one will see god without holiness. and i was like maybe what he means by seeing god is that no one will see love. Because god is love. and when we are holy and act out gods will we are showing people god through love and if no one ever shows love or shows god in action because they are not holy then how will anyone see god????

-Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."

-Hebrews 12:14, "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone & to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord."
