blah blah blah... Hey emrege small group people, I know nobody will read this bcuz no one posts anymore which is what makes this post such a waste of time. Anywho...
I jus got bak from the big O and started reading my book i got from Jerimy called "The Final Quest (emphasis added). Its a pretty awesome, basically bcuz its not just another Jesus Book (and its not lame like the "shack") but its really quite fascinating. Its not like this guy saying u should believe and god and be a good person or your goin to hell this entire book is his "vision" well more like a compilation of visions.
He speaks about Heavan and how God revealed heavan to him as a mountain and to reach the top of the mountain (the garden and all of his glory) one must first climb up the different levels the first of which being salvation and then so on and so forth. What I liked about was that it was relevant, it was a totally reality of how heavan and the spiritual realm is (and least how God related it to him) and it wasn't just about the spirit, the whole book was a giant metaphor for our lives. It talks about how its a mountian and on Gods mountain everyone plays a different role in the kingdom, and the higher one goes up the mountain the more equipped they become, but whats awesome about it is that some people stayed on certain levels so that they could help others climb up the mountain, they were selfless and more interested about the salvation of others than reaching the top (thus further showing everyone has a different job or calling from
God).
I'm not finished but thats what I got out of my book so far...
