My answer to your question Jerimy is:

To me, my home is where I can rest, relax, "get away" from some of the distractions of the world, and just get peace. When he says God is our home, he is saying that God is a place where we can rest, relax, and get away from the some of the distractions of the world, and DEFFINATLEY get peace. Sometimes we get "homesick" if we don't pray or worship or if were not really seeking Him, that is our soul crying out for more of His presence, even if our flesh feels "busy", we always have time for God.
