To live worship before going live with worship.

Hey everybody!

I think to "live worship before going live with worship" is when you have your heart already prepared for what you're about to step into.
When we're on stage, it can't be about us. Being up there is about leading others into God's presence...they look to us for the next move...I mean, if we were up there singing or playing an instrument and just going through the motions...or if we are up there just pretending when we know deep down in our hearts that we are not pure or ready to lead others into worship...then what are we doing? We can't show people something we haven't stepped into yet, so when we're up there it has to be REAL. I don't believe in faking worship because it's like putting on a mask.

To live worship before going live is to also be the SAME person at church as you are where ever you go. That's so important that we are worshiping and praying at home as well as church...talking to people about Jesus and what he's done in our lives...loving others as much as we love ourselves and putting them first.

Another point is to be careful not to fall into the ways of this world that are tempting us...God looks for hearts that are after Him and not how "amazing" they sound when they're singing or playing...He wants us to be so full of Him that we can't help but love and encourage others...

Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-His good and perfect will."
