Look To The Sky

Hey Everyone,

As you all prolly know by now, our trip has been postponed. My immediate reaction was to be sad that we werent going. After such an amazing trip last year and having our meetings on thursday nights with each and everyone of you, I have been so pumped and ready to lead people into worship next week. But even though our trip has been delayed, I really believe God has his hand over Emerge, over us, and over our trip in the upcoming future. I love you all and i want to encourage you to be praying over emerge, Jerimy and his family, and where God is leading us. Have a fab-tastic weekend and im sure ill see you all on sunday!

Hey everyone!
just puttin my thoughts on the verses we got. i had journaled them a while ago but still havent put them up.... so here we go. First off let me say that i as spent my quiet time on these verses, i felt God had shown me some pretty cool things. the topic was purity and holiness... i believe one comes before the other... the way we become holy, is through purity. the bible says that we are to purify ourselves from all unrightousness. so when we ask God to purify us, he makes us holy vessles to do His mission.

Well im not gonna be able to make it tomorrow evening to the meeting. i will be praying for you all and i am so exciting to be serving with each and every one of you as we go on this trip! i love yall and im praying for ya!

ok so i no i havnt posted in awhile i would like to apologize i have been so busy with work and everything else but im making time now. i feel that the verses are telling us to live in the holy ways jesus did i mean its a DUH that we should and the bible states it. We must also live right in our heart because its not our spirit that feeds us its we that feed our spirit.

heres what i think of the scriptures


Mathew 5:8 - i think this is a chamelion of word play meaning it blends with simular scripture verses but the difference is in the way it speaks of purity is purity of the heart. now we know this is different than purity of the body in that if i dont sin i am pure of the body but if my intensions are pure i am pure of heart rather than worshiping God to look pure or for self gain i worship Him cause i love Him.

Hebrews 12:14
hmm i read this one a billion times i am stuck :/ what i asume he is saying is no unholy thing shall enter the kingdom but in the deffinition of holy 1.exalted or worthy of complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and righteousness. 2. Devine 3. devoted entirely to the deity or the work of the deity. the first one is what i think of holy the thing i got out of this was that wow and awe factor that shakes the heavens the undescribed passion for good that lingers in the air of true worship WOW how can i achieve Holyness and what exactly are hevens standards.
